Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like bananas.
I have no excuse for my delay of entries. It’s not like nothing has been happening just the opposite actually. It will take me some time to upload pictures of the winter spent in Portland with Jodie but I’m on it.
All in all things have been going well, we are both healthy, happy and have a roof over our heads. And that is alot to be thankful for. We may not be working but that will soon change as I will be returning for my fourth season with Denali National Park. The awesome news is this time Jodie will be joining me. Jodie was recently laid off from Columbia Sportswear, and this may be a blessing in disquise. It is a great opportunity for her to take a break from cubicle life, to relax her mind and explore her options for the future. And it’ll keep us together through the summer.
As far as my future, well I plan on changing gears after the summer. While in Denali I will be taking a web course or two as I begin to satisfy my prerequisites for nursing school. I am pretty excited about it, and with the state of affairs it seems a valuable industry to be a part of, always growing. More personally I want to continue being a part of something bigger, something within the community and indeed something service oriented.
Our 2 week count down has already begun we leave for Alaska on the 20th of April. Stay tuned for the summer run down and the winter load up.
